You are priceless. You are an original masterpiece. You are who God says you are. You are the Temple of the Holy Spirit. You are a Child of God. You are created in the image and likeness of God. God created you and saw that you were GOOD. You are loved.
Now, all you have to do is believe that.

I realize that a lot of ways that people fall short, including myself especially, is due to a lack of grace. In all honesty, we all are in short of perceiving God’s grace. I’m not saying we haven’t perceived it or received it. I’m saying we haven’t asked for the grace to see how much we’ve been given in grace. When we truly understand how much God has given us in grace, then in grace we will change and do the most radical things. This is how we know it is the power of God, that it’s through His grace we can do all things.
Lord, I am sorry for the ways that I have fallen short of You, Lord. Us, as Your people, have left the things that we should have done undone… and done the things we should not have done. We have betrayed Your precious Word and made light of Your Son, who died for our sins. There are so many people out there who need You, who need a Savior. I pray, God, that our hearts would be like Yours… Would You please help us to perceive a glimpse into the vast magnitude of Your heart that breaks each day for the people You desire to come to you. Your Word is true, Father, Your Word declares that You desire all people to come to repentance, to know You. Eternal life is this: knowing You and knowing Jesus whom You sent.
I pray that You would soften not just our hearts, but even all the people who don’t believe in You, that they may receive Your Word and know that You are the way, the truth, and life. Use these insufficient lips, these insufficient heart, and this insufficient body for Your will and purpose. Humble me, for I think too much of myself, and help me to truly love as You have loved me. I give You so much thanks Father, that You are a gentle and compassionate teacher who understands my limitations, yet bears me with grace and patience, continually teaching me what it means to live in grace and in truth. I pray Father, that You would help me to see and understand the value of grace You have given me. In Your Son’s Precious Name. Amen.
When you screw up and fall in some area of your life, what happens next? What goes on inside your heart? Spiritually speaking, what are you supposed to do? Do you go straight to Jesus, confess it and then move on? Are you supposed to feel bad about…
In 1 Corinthians 13, the Apostle Paul says that there is only one stat that ultimately matters in your walk with God - one thing that that truly tells the world who you are, and that is your love (or lack thereof). The real question is, how do I grow in love? What does love look like? What does…
Some Christians are just as broken as non believers, if not more. We struggle with things like depression, lack of purpose, severe inner hurts and don’t even know it because we figure, “well, Jesus already saved my life and the whole shebang, so this must be how a redeemed life just is.” Or we…
